Project Challenge

When CBK reached out to Pen Publishing Interactive they wanted more than an attractive website.

They wanted a strategic partner. A partner that would roll up their sleeves. A partner that would make the bank's online presence align with core business objectives.

The challenges for this project included:

• Sub-par bank industry website template system
• No branded or appealing website design
• Disruptive and unnecessary front-facing user tools, color scheme changer
• Website security and structure
• The website lacked cross promotional tools

Project Analysis and Approach

Pen Publishing Interactive listened to the pain points of CBK. We worked close with CBK's Strategic Marketing Officer. In our conversations and meetings we discovered the many customer paths.

We discussed, analyzed and research competitors to best deliver on the website's hierarchy. Our approach from the beginning was to simplify and invite the visitor to find their way at their pace.

We envisioned the site with various cross promotion opportunities through visual ads. It was also important to have a clean and simple interface for mobile device users.

Project Outcomes

The CBK website went from flat, confusing and off-brand to a branded cutting-edge one. We delivered a visually appealing website that personified the bank's brand.

Our home-grown (organic) FlipperSiteDeveloper CMS powers the CBK website. CBK administrators can cross promote their services and products with the built-in ad manager.

The website structure is simple and allows users to find what they are looking for quickly. We use the latest in website encryption technology to secure the transferred data.
