Pen Publishing Interactive has announced the launch of the new Wichita/Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers website, www.wichitasedgwickcountycrimestoppers.com.

Pen Publishing Interactive provided the functionality and design using FlipperSiteDeveloper content management system (CMS). Flipper CMS will allow the Crime Stoppers site to increase interaction with the public through social media integration, the ability to subscribe to RSS feeds and register on the site to receive notifications of newly posted content. The ability to perform keyword searches to find details on crimes and improved search engine optimization have also been added.

Tipsters can now use smartphones to scan a QR code to submit information to the Crime Stoppers hotline.

Supporters will be able to submit donations using the site and follow-up on Crime Stoppers endorsed events using the new calendar.

Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County, Inc. is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit entity & relies solely on donations to fund the disbursements of rewards. The mission of Crime Stoppers is to promote community participation in the apprehension of criminals by offering rewards and to encourage citizen-based responses to crime and violence through motivating the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
